Week of Compassion works with partners to alleviate suffering throughout the world.
We provide direct assistance to agencies in our County that have ongoing programs to help children: orphanages, foster children, and special schools. Part of our annual outreach budget goes for these endeavors.
Beautifully located in Washington County, Holly Place was established to target low-income Seniors with limited resources who could not afford alternative care systems or private homes. The 24-hour staff provides quality care while endeavoring to establish a home-like setting for our Seniors in need of assisted living services.
Each Fall we participate with other local congregation in an annual "CROP WALK." We were able to donate$1385.00 to elevate hunger last November.
When flooding hit Kentucky last year, a concerned individual gave $1500.00 to assist a local church team that went to assist with the clean-up. INDIVIDUAL GIFTS ARE IMPORTANT! This is just one example of an individual gift that is given through the local congregation.
